✏️ How to Use This Bible Lesson
Begin with the Three Promises to Abraham poster and the six review pictures. Recall how Abraham’s family became the Israelites and how God gave Moses an important job at the burning bush.
Read the storybook and discuss what happened when Moses and Aaron spoke to Pharaoh. Use the included questions to help children remember Pharaoh’s refusal, the plagues, and the Israelites leaving Egypt.
Display the ten retelling posters in order. Name each plague and read its short explanation. Then invite children to help sequence the posters, using the numbers and pictures as clues.
Complete the lift-the-flap craft. Children color the pictures, match the numbered flaps, and glue only the top of each flap onto the shaded strip. Precut the flaps for children who need help. Once assembled, children lift the flaps in order to retell the story.
End with the closing review and prayer. Complete the optional booklet in class or send it home for children to share with their families.
