Easter Kindergarten Worksheets and Activities No Prep
The Easter Kindergarten worksheets and activities packet contains a collection of worksheets suitable for use with children in Kindergarten during March or April.

Literacy Worksheets:
Easter syllables
Children will say the name of each picture and show how many syllables each word contains by coloring the correct circle.
Easter eggs and basket lower to upper case letter match (4 pages)
Children will color the lower case letter egg that matches the upper case letter on the basket.
Easter egg alphabet order (2 pages)
Children will trace the letters on the eggs and then write the missing letters.
Easter beginning sounds
Children will circle the two pictures in each row that start with the same beginning sound, then write that letter on the writing line.
Easter beginning blends (3 pages)
Children will circle the two pictures in each row that start with the same beginning blend, then write that letter blend on the writing line.
Easter beginning digraphs
Children will circle the two pictures in each row that start with the same beginning blend, then write that letter blend on the writing line.
Easter missing vowels
Children will write the missing short vowel sound for each CVC word.
Secret CVC words
Children will write the beginning sound for each picture to make a CVC word. They will then cut out the pictures from the bottom of the page and paste them next to the matching CVC words.
Easter CVCe words
Children will read the CVCe word and then write it in the shape. Next, they will determine which of three pictures matches the CVCe word by circling it.
Easter long vowel sounds
Children will circle the pictures in each row that contain the long vowel sound shown at the start of the row.
Easter short and long vowel sounds
Children will select the correct spelling for each picture.
Easter word families
Children will circle the two pictures in each row that end with the same word family, then write those two letters on the writing line.
Easter egg rhyming words
Children will cut and paste the pictures from the bottom of the page under the matching rhyming word.
Easter rhyming words with clues
Children will read the clues, then cut and paste the pictures next to the matching clues.
Easter egg sight words (4 pages)
Children will unscramble the sight words and then write them correctly on the line underneath.
Easter missing sight words
Children will read the sentences on the page and fill in the blank spaces with the correct sight word.
Easter sequencing
Children will read the sentences on the page. They will then cut and paste the pictures next to the matching sentences.
Easter ending punctuation
Children will read the sentences on the page. They will then cut and paste the punctuation marks next to the matching sentences.
Easter fix the sentence
Children will read the sentences on the page. They will then identify the errors in each sentence and write the sentence correctly on the writing line.
Easter picture and word match
Children will cut and paste the words under the matching pictures.
Easter label the bunny
Children will cut and paste the label in the correct boxes to label the bunny.
Decorating Easter Eggs emergent reader – (color and B&W) with comprehension questions
Assembly is required by cutting each page in half and then stapling together on the left side where indicated. Children will have lots of fun coloring and reading this booklet! I have also included a colored version that teachers can use and keep in the classroom library. There are 2 comprehension sheets: one with pictures to indicate the page on which children can find the answer and another without pictures.
Easter build-a-word booklet (19 words)
Print the pages you wish to use, cut them in half and staple together. Leave letter tiles on the right intact. Children write the words of the images displayed on each page in their booklets and then build the words using the letter tiles provided. I have also included writing lines if you wish for your students to create sentences with the words. The lines can be photocopied onto the back of each page.
* Ink stamps or letters cut out from magazines can be used instead of the letter tiles included in this unit.*Easter colors
