Kindergarten Morning Tubs / Bins Set 2
Set 2 of the Kindergarten Morning Tubs contains 22 activities ideal for use in morning tubs with children in Kindergarten.
To prepare the activities in the Kindergarten Morning Tubs / Bins for use, laminate each printed page and then cut along the dotted lines. The cards in this packet have been designed to be stored as sets on key rings and for that reason, each card has a hole-punching mark.
Photos are included to show how each activity can be used. The photos make great visual instruction cards for young students and you can store them with the corresponding activity.
1. Alphabet Lacing Cards
Materials needed: shoestring (or string, yarn, etc.)
Children will thread the shoestring, or other chosen lacing material) through the holes.
2. Build the feelings playdough mats
Materials needed: assorted colored play dough
Children will create the different emotions on the face mat.

Children will use the strips to build the letter on the card.

10. Trace the Sight Word
Materials needed: erasable markers
Children will trace the sight word on the card with an erasable marker.
11. Sorting Letters, Numbers, Words
Children will sort the sandwich cards to the correct lunch box.
12. Visual Discrimination Cards: Which pose matches the picture?
Materials needed: household pegs
Children will identify the stick figure that shows the correct pose of the child by clipping a peg to it.
13. Left or Right?

Children will identify the facing direction of the object on their card and clip a peg on the correct arrow.
14. Play Dough Colors: Dress the boy/girl

Children will pick a card and use the same colored play dough to make the piece of clothing on the boy/girl.

Children will recreate the pattern on the card using the colored buttons.
