✏️ How to Use the CVC Words Write the Room Activity
Preparation: Print and cut apart the cards. Laminate them if desired for repeated use. Print the matching recording sheets and review unfamiliar picture names before beginning.
Write the Room: Place the matching cards around the classroom at children’s eye level. Give each child a recording sheet, clipboard, and pencil.
- Find a picture and word card.
- Say the sounds and blend them to read the word.
- Find the matching picture on the recording sheet.
- Write the word beside the picture.
Continue until all eight words are recorded.
