Learning Folder for 3-5 | Toddler Binder: Alphabet & Number Match
The Alphabet and Number Match activity is perfect for children aged 3-5. Included are 3 matching activities: one for upper case letters, another for lower case letters and the last for numbers 1-10.
Directions for preparation
This resource has been created for use in a binder or folder, but can be used however you see fit.
To prepare the activities for use, simply print and laminate all the pages. Cut out the colored alphabet and number blocks. Leave the black and white block pages intact as they will form the base for each activity. Attach transparent velcro dots to the black and white blocks and to the back of each colored block.
Ideas for use
- Matching
- Teach letter sounds by pointing to each letter and saying the sound it makes. Have your child repeat.
- Teach your child to associate each number with counting by saying the number, then counting on fingers.
- Teach alphabet and number order: place the colored blocks down one by one and sing an alphabet/counting song.
