Autumn Build a Pattern Math Activity

Introduce your students to the joys of pattern-building with the Autumn Build a Pattern math activity! This hands-on resource helps young learners develop pattern recognition and pattern-creation skills using fun, autumn-themed images.

What’s Included:

• 20 Pattern Cards: 5 cards for each pattern type (AB, AAB, ABB, and ABC), each with a partially completed pattern for children to follow.
• 7 Picture Cards: Used by children to replicate the patterns. Multiple copies of the picture cards will need to be printed to create all the different patterns.
• Recording Page: A page where children choose between two provided options to complete each pattern and record their choice.

How to Use:

• Setup: Print and laminate all pages for durability. Ensure multiple copies of the picture cards are printed for use in building the patterns.
• Activity: Children use the picture cards to recreate the pattern shown on the pattern cards. Then, they decide which picture is needed to complete the pattern and record their choice on the recording page.
