This book contains a collection of worksheets suitable for use with children in Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten at the beginning of the school year.

Contents

1. Pre-writing tracing practice (5 pages)
Children trace the lines on the page, left to right.

2. Name writing practice page (non-editable)
Children practice writing their names using pencil, marker, crayon and pen.

3. Gluing practice (5 pages)
Children color the pictures and then squeeze a dot of glue inside each circle. Glitter can be sprinkled on the glue and left to dry.

4. Cutting practice (5 pages)
Children color the pictures and then cut along the different lines.

5. Alphabet tracing practice – upper and lower case (32 pages)
Children begin by finger-tracing the large letter on the page and then trace over it once or multiple times with a pencil. Next, children trace the letters on the handwriting lines. Finally, they color the pictures at the bottom of the page, cut them out and paste them in the squares on the right side of the page.
***NOTE: If you find that there are too many tasks on the page for your students, cut the bottom section off and save it for later in the year. Children can practice tracing the large letter and then use ink stamps to stamp the letter in the boxes on the right, or stick alphabet stickers.

6. Number tracing practice (1-10/10 pages)
Children begin by finger-tracing the large number on the page and then trace over it once or multiple times with a pencil. Next, children trace the numbers on the handwriting lines. Finally, they colour the pictures on the right side of the page.
***NOTE: If you find that there are too many tasks on the page for your students, cut the bottom section off and save it for later in the year. Children can practice tracing over the large number and color the pictures on the right.

7. Shape recognition – triangle/square/rectangle/circle (4 pages)
Children begin by coloring the pictures in the top box. They then color, trace and connect the dots to make the shape.

8. Colors coloring pages (11 pages)
Children colour the pictures on the page.
