✂️ How to Use the Sick Teddy Counting Activity

Print the teddy bear mat and bandage pieces, laminate if desired, and cut apart the pieces. Children count the dots on each bandage and place the correct bandage on the matching number spot to “heal” the teddy bear.

For extra sensory fun, hide the bandages inside a sensory bin filled with rice, beans, pom poms, or sand. Children can search for the bandages, count the dots, and match them to the correct number on the teddy bear.

This activity also works wonderfully in a dramatic play center. Create a simple Teddy Bear Hospital where children can pretend to be doctors or veterinarians while practicing early math skills.
