About this book
This book contains 20 pre-primer sight word worksheets intended for use with children in Kindergarten (Prep) and Grade 1 as assessment or revision work. There are two different worksheets that focus on 4 sight words at a time. The exercises are extremely teacher and student friendly and each worksheet has been designed with larger than normal print to aid young learners, along with simple pictures to assist English language learners.
Directions for use
The first worksheet requires children to complete a basic word search and then complete the sentences by writing one of the focus words on the empty line.
The second worksheet requires children to match the four focus words to their box shapes, unscramble the mixed up words and then color a picture using a special code!
The worksheets in this book can be used while working with the entire class, in small groups, or one-on-one with individual children. They would make a great assessment but they can also be used for revision purposes during morning work, as early finisher work, homework or however you see fit!
