Spring Math Centers for Kindergarten Contents
Spring write & wipe number tracing (1-20)
Children will children practice correct number formation with a dry-erase marker.
Spring count and write
Children will count the items on the card and write their answer in the circle provided.
Spring missing numbers (1-20 X4 cards; 1-50)
Children will identify the missing numbers and place the correct tiles in the empty boxes to complete the number sequence.
Spring flowers skip counting by 10s, 5s and 2s write & wipe
Children will complete the skip counting number sequence by writing the missing numbers using a dry-erase marker.
Spring ten frame match (up to 20)
Children will count the objects on the frames and place the matching number word and number in the empty boxes.
Spring place value (1-20)
Children will identify how many tens, ones and the total number for each card.
Spring flowers and petals number match (1-20)
Children will match the different number representations on the coloured petals to the correct flower.
Spring greater than, less than, equal to (pictures)
Children will identify which group of pictures is greater, which is less or whether they are equal.
Spring greater than, less than, equal to (1-100)
Children will identify which number is greater, which is less or whether they are equal.
Spring ten frame addition (10 and 20)
Children will show the different ways to make 10 and 20 on the cards provided.
Spring subtraction with pictures (1-10)
Children will work out the subtraction equation using the pictures on the card.
Spring count, tally and graph write & wipe
Children will count and represent their findings on the graph by colouring the appropriate number of squares with an erasable marker or crayon and then draw tallies.
Label the shape (2D and 3D)
Children will identify each shape and match the corresponding name to each card.
Shapes in real life clip it
Children will clip a pin to the real life picture that matches the shape shown at the front of the card.
Spring time match (analog and digital clocks to the hour)
Children will match the digital time to the correct analogue clock.
Build a Spring pattern (AB/ABB/AAB/ABC)
Children will build a pattern following the example from one of the cards. They then need to decide which picture goes in the empty square to complete the pattern.
Spring sorting (3 sets: 2D/3D shapes, shapes with/without corners, insects that fly/crawl)
Children will sort the cards to the correct sorting mats.
How a carrot grows sequencing
Children will place the picture cards in order to show the growth process of a carrot.
Spring positional words
Children will read the sentences on each card, then clip a clothes pin on the correct positional word to make the sentence true.
