✏️ How to Use the Pumpkin Shapes and Colors Activities
Build a Pumpkin: Children find and name the shape pieces, then turn and position them to match a guided mat. Once they are ready, they can copy a model card onto the blank mat.
Pumpkin Detective: Children choose a clue card, identify its color and shape, and search for the pumpkin that matches both clues. They place their choice inside the magnifying-glass picture and check their answer.
Print, laminate if desired, and cut apart the pieces. Add selected pieces to a shallow sensory bin with a suitable filler, such as dried chickpeas. Alternatively, arrange the pieces on a tabletop. Supervise sensory play and choose materials appropriate for your learners.
