I love the idea of Morning Tubs / Bins for Preschool and Kindergarten students! It’s a great way to get their mind off whatever happened the day before or that morning so that they can focus on the learning that lies ahead.
It makes perfect sense that children in these grades should start the day with play-based learning. That activities included in Morning Tubs for Preschool and Kindergarten students are all play-based and age-appropriate so that children can complete them independently. In this post, I will share with you some fun and engaging Morning Tub activities that you can use to start the day with your Preschool or Kindergarten students!
Fine Motor Morning Tubs for Preschool
We all understand how important it is to develop the small muscles in hands, fingers and arms. By strengthening these small muscles, children are able to complete many tasks and daily physical self-care requirements such as doing up a button for themselves, tying a shoelace, zipping up a jacket, writing with a pencil, etc. The seasonal Fine Motor Morning Tubs are the perfect solution! Children will develop their fine motor skills as they cut, glue, sort, paint, build, thread, draw and much more!
Each of the 12 Fine Motor Morning Tubs include 16 activities. Despite the theme change with each packet, the skills and concepts remain the same. This saves a lot of heartache for you as well as your students as you don’t have to explain each month how to do the 16 activities!
